Staff Attorney - Bilingual Highly Desired

The Staff Attorney provides legal assistance to victims of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV),Sexual Assault (SA), and IPV-related stalking. Operate East County Courthouse Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) Clinic 2 ½ days per week. The remaining part of the week work out of CCS' East County Office and provide an array of IPV-related legal services – Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) consultations, hearing preparation, family law and civil legal remedies consultations, and limited direct representation in Family Court.

Job Requirements:

Juris Doctor Degree
Licensed California attorney in good standing
Completion of CA State-approved Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence
Crisis Intervention Training (or must complete upon hire)

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual English/Spanish - potential salary boost!
Experience working with victims of IPV, SA, and stalking

Compensation:

$57,000 Annual Salary
