The University of California, San Diego invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track teaching faculty position for appointment at the Halicioglu Data Science Institute. The teaching faculty appointment is a tenure-track appointment formally titled as lecturer with a potential security of employment or LPSOE.

We seek applicants in the broad areas of distributed processing systems, database systems, non-structured databases, metadata models and methods and data visualization.

A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline is required at the time of appointment.
